Pharmacierge, a leader in private e-prescription app and delivery services, has relocated to a cutting-edge 5,500 sq ft dispensary on Wimpole Street in the Harley Street Medical Area. This significant expansion extends the company’s operations to 8,000 sq ft in total – a 10-fold increase since its launch in 2015 – and marks a significant milestone in its mission to become the pharmacy partner of choice for leading private practices, private hospitals and their patients.

The ambitious project involved transforming two 18th-century Georgian properties into a streamlined clinical space, integrating cutting-edge software and pharmacy design. The facility, which includes areas dedicated to controlled, refrigerated and biological medications, features a 10-metre multi-arm dispensing robot (pictured above), equipped with machine learning-driven stock management, which allows staff to focus on complex tasks, enhances efficiency and minimises medication wastage.

The opening ceremony was led by Dr Phil Batty, president of the Independent Doctors Federation, and Mark Kildea, CEO of The Howard de Walden Estate, the area’s historic landlord. “Pharmacierge exemplifies how technology-driven healthcare businesses can thrive in the Harley Street Medical Area,” said Mr Kidea. £This expansion underscores the company’s rapid growth and its dedication to offering top-tier service to its expanding network of clinicians and patients.”

Pharmacierge’s co-founder and CEO Edward Ungar commented: “It’s exciting to see our talented team now equipped with cutting-edge robotics and machine learning technology to better manage our extensive formulary. This expansion allows us to scale the exceptional care our teams provide to our network of over 4,500 clinicians.”
