At the event, which was attended by  representatives of The Howard de Walden Estate, the Mittal Foundation, the Phillips Trust, the Mukul Madhav Foundation and the Dorset Foundation, The London Clinic’s chairman Hamish Leslie Melville spoke about how the Rapid Diagnostics Centre is helping to support the UK’s national cancer challenge:

“Thanks to this centre, we are poised to provide over 10,000 rapid cancer diagnostics and screenings this year, with a commitment to ensuring at least 4,000 of these are accessible to individuals from under-served communities and those experiencing prolonged wait times for appointments. This is possible through our partnerships with NHS hospitals, including established referral systems with esteemed institutions such as University College London Hospital and Royal Free Hospital.”

Located within a new six-floor purpose-built facility at 142-146 Harley Street, the centre focuses on urology (including prostate, bladder, testicular and renal), gynaecology, breast and dermatology. Patients have access to appointments that start within 24-48 hours of booking, meaning that stressful waiting times are eliminated from the process.
