Cleveland Clinic London and The London Clinic announce new partnership

Cleveland Clinic London (CCL), a leading non-profit healthcare provider due to open in central London from 2021, will enter into a clinical partnership with The London Clinic, the internationally-renowned independent charitable hospital, to provide comprehensive oncology services to patients at their respective facilities. The partnership brings together two organisations committed to providing the highest quality patient-centred care and a seamless treatment pathway.

Surgical oncology will be a core service offered by Cleveland Clinic London, which will open an eight-storey, 325,000-square-foot building at 33 Grosvenor Place in early 2022. The hospital will be preceded by CCL’s first outpatient centre, at 24 Portland Place in the Harley Street Medical Area, in autumn 2021. As part of this partnership, The London Clinic, also part of the HSMA, will provide medical, radiation and other oncology services to patients who have surgery at CCL.

The two organisations are working to integrate their information technology systems to be able to share patient information securely and electronically. This will enable a seamless multi-disciplinary team approach to patients with cancer, with groups of specialists overseeing each patient’s care pathway to deliver the best possible clinical outcome.
